Back from the depths

I know, it's been two months since I posted anything. There hasn't been anything to post. So why post anything? Because there maybe something to post. The uncle pops over on 7/5 and says "Wanna go for a ride this afternoon and get out of the house?" Sure, what the hell. Did a Gilligan's Island; a three hour tour. Just got out and drove. Even broke out the uncle's DeLorme map of Illinois. Great maps. I own several, but this is the first time I used one. Any rate, we're out putzing and he goes "You maybe up for Wisconsin?" Of course. "Well see if there's anything going on you may wanna check out and we'll go." So, now I get to try and plan a route, decide whether or not to hit the "usual suspects" of cities. Wonder what is going on in Manitowoc at the Holiday Inn? Guaranteed there'll be something going on if we go there. If/when we go, there will be updates and photos.
